UAC - Permissions
Microsoft first deployed Windows Vista with the UAC (User Account Control) for added security. They carried it through on windows 7 and 8 operating systems.
The UAC causes security warnings to show up when starting applications. This can be very irritating. We don't recommend turning User Account Control off. If you do turn it off, you should turn it back on as soon as possible.
If you have security problems running Simply Checking it is best to first try running as administrator. To do this, RIGHT click on the Simply Checking icon on your desktop and choose 'Run as Administrator'
